F-Lt S. C. von Alwyn

F-Lt Stacey Cuthbert von Alwyn (33), son of Mr and Mrs J. A. von Alwyn, Launceston, died in a hospital in Victoria on Saturday after an operation.      

He joined the RAAF about two years ago. Formerly he represented MacRobertson's Pty. Ltd. in Northern Tasmania. He was a member of the Commercial Travellers' Association.  

F-Lt von Alwyn leaves a widow and one son. Mrs J. M. Gregory, Sydney, is his only sister.

Mr and Mrs J. A. von Alwyn left Launceston for the Mainland at the weekend.
