Born 26 June 1912 Glen Huon Tasmania to Phillip and Amy Caroline Davern (nee Voss) was killed when Liberator A72-177 crashed in North Borneo

DAVERN.-Flt-Sgt Davern, Owen William John, RAAF, killed in action N-W Pacific, May 21, 1945, beloved son of Phillip and the late Amy Davern, and brother of Bernard (RAN), Nina (Mrs MacMillan), and Iris (Mrs Lazenby, Melbourne).
